Thats the thing with a smart watch app though they are technically suppose to be always running in the background for you to get things like calls amd notifications amd other stuff along with it being connected too the phone. Most smartwatches apps will tell u to connect the watch to the Bluetooth of the phone through the app now instead of the Bluetooth menu so everything works properly.

My fav smart watch is fitbit for sure. Been using for 1 yr or so. No regrets. Bought for 100$ aud. You can do all these things plus can reply customs texts and see who called. Battery lasts 1 whole week. I hate charging watches.

I have the CMF watch pro 2, the only dilemma I have beside the drop in connection is the calls on my pixel 8 phones as I received no notification from calling apps as Comera, meet and Snapchat calls which irritates me.

one of the best features of a budget smart watch is that due to their simplicity and lack of features beyond the basics (which i mostly do not need to begin with), they can last weeks if not months on a single charge. this reason alone is why i stick with budget smart watches.

I got a cheap Xiami(?) brand smart watch. Once I opened an account to download their software, my emails got hacked from China and they wrecked my private accounts. I had to change EVERYTHING. My advice? Buy only from established brands, not Chinese makers that give you a device at basically at cost so that they can access your personal information.
